CTL’s first flagship tin project, (Great Wheal Vor) covers 26 former producing mines known in their day as the “richest tin mines in the world”. These include Wheal Vor and Wheal Metal. CTL drilling to date has identified 28 high-grade tin targets.
Eight new tin lodes discovered, including:
South Vor Footwall: peak grade 6.28% Sn · Hichens Lode: peak grade 5.63% Sn
Goldilocks Cluster: one of our 28 targets at Vor, identified by nine tin intercepts within a >155m wide interval
A new high-grade tin system located below the old Wheal Vor workings (historically among the richest in the world), the Goldilocks target zone has the potential to be approximately three times the size of the Vor historic workings. The Vor Main Lode alone produced ~45,000 tonnes of tin metal.
Location: Tregonning Granite, West Cornwall | Focus: Hard-rock lithium in rare G5 granite, with major new tin discovery
The new lithium field we have discovered in our combined Tregonning North and Tregonning South project areas (combined total 1,129 acres) has the potential to be one of the largest mica-granite lithium fields in Europe.
Mineral rights control of Tregonning South was acquired by CTL in February 2025. Exploration drilling on Tregonning South completed in 2026 has confirmed continuity of the new lithium field over approx 3.27 km. This includes multiple lithium-enriched sheets at various depths with true widths of up to 6.8 metres. Additionally, we have discovered a major new tin system at Tregonning South: to date, drilling has so far intercepted 10 tin lodes and a sheeted vein system.
The JORC Lithium Exploration Target (Feb 2025) on Tregonning North alone reported an average 197.5 Mt (ie 67 – 328 Mt) grading 0.26–0.32% Li₂O, but this does not include the upside of Tregonning South, which is more than double the area of Tregonning North.
One of the most significant hard-rock lithium opportunities in Europe, now with the additional discovery of a major tin system.

We have carried out extensive digitisation of all available mine plans and identified multiple high-grade tin targets.
Strong exploration potential within a proven high-grade tin district. The Phoenix group of mines are a valuable pipeline project for CTL, with mineral rights grants secured by CTL from both the Duchy of Cornwall and the Crown Estate.
